How to become a demon in Slayers 2

You start as a human. Turning into a demon takes negative reputation, a night-time meeting with Muzan, one two-part quest and a bottle of his blood. BLUEZ recorded the whole route on a fresh character, and the level counter in the corner of his screen reads Lv 6 from the moment he meets Muzan to the moment he drinks.

The eight steps below follow that recording, with the frame for each one. If you already learned a breathing style, read the warning box first.

Already a Slayer? Muzan will tell you to get lost

Reputation alone does not flip a Slayer. On r/Slayers2Roblox, a level 80 Slayer at minus 2,000 reputation tried every spawn and every server and still got the brush-off, and a level 100 Slayer at minus 180 had the same result. Both threads got the same answer from other players: reset your race. XenoTy walks up to Muzan on camera as a Slayer, and the narrator says Muzan will tell him to get lost.

  • Buy Reset Race in the in-game shop. Pre-release shop footage shows it at 10 Ore, or 120 Robux with 150 struck through. The full price list is on the game passes page.
  • Reset Reputation is a different item (4 Ore in the same footage). The level 100 player had bought that one and was still turned away.

What you need, and what you don’t

Reputation: minus 40

Pro Game Guides’ trainer page and the fan wiki both put the threshold at minus 40. Pro Game Guides’ own beginner guide says roughly 40 to 50, and XenoTy’s narrator says around 50.

Level: none shown

BLUEZ is at Lv 3 for his first kill and Lv 6 when he drinks. No level lock appears anywhere on the route. Pro Game Guides’ beginner guide puts demon arts at level 25; BLUEZ never gets to roll one, so his video can neither confirm nor contradict that. Muzan’s hunts, after you turn, ask for 45.

Time: night

Pro Game Guides and the fan wiki both say Muzan only shows up at night, and every sighting in the footage is after dark. The Muzan page has the areas to search.

The route, step by step

  1. Drive your reputation below minus 40

    Your reputation sits in the panel in the top-right corner, under the heading Reputation. Killing the wrong people pushes it down. The fan wiki names civilians and Slayers.

    The fast way is the Slayers whose nameplate reads Mizunoto. Each kill in BLUEZ’s video costs exactly 9, and his counter goes 0, −9, −18, −36, −45. Deepshaken’s demon guide says the same 9, says a civilian is worth only 1, and points to the Mizunoto near Butterfly Estate on the way in from Seasons Crossing.

    So five Mizunoto kills are enough. The fan wiki adds that Muzan messages you at every 10 below zero, and at minus 40 tells you to meet him at nightfall.

    One kill pays +61 Exp, +27 Wen and +41 Fist Mastery, and costs -9 Reputation. The panel in the top-right corner, headed Reputation, now reads -9.

  2. Find Muzan at night and take the Biwa Bell

    Talk to him and you get a Biwa Bell, an item that takes you to his lair. BLUEZ met him at minus 46 under a purple night sky.

    He walks around rather than standing on a fixed spot. The three search areas two guides agree on, and the one area caught on camera, are on the where to find Muzan page.

  3. Ring the bell and go to his lair

    Using the bell moves you to Muzan’s Lair, and the trip is not free. Every arrival takes 5 evil reputation, which moves you back towards zero. BLUEZ went from minus 46 to minus 41 here, and later from minus 41 to minus 36 on his next visit.

    The video never shows a player arriving above minus 40. One or two extra kills cost you a minute, so arrive with some margin.

  4. Take Muzan's quest

    Talk to him on the balcony and the tracker on the left fills in. It has two parts, and the reward is the item that turns you.

  5. Pick nine Spider Lilies

    They are flowers on the ground with a Pick Up prompt. BLUEZ picked his at night with the minimap on Hidden Mist, and by the next step all nine are struck off. Where they grow, what they look like by day and what the locator pass does are on the Spider Lily page.

  6. Capture Dr. Higoshima and carry him out

    The quest marker leads you to him. In BLUEZ’s run he is in a dark cave with the minimap reading Hidden Mist Villag, and Pro Game Guides points to Hidden Mist Village too. Interact to capture him, and the game tells you to get him to the safe zone.

    Expect company on the way. Pro Game Guides says to keep moving past the enemies that chase you, and Deepshaken’s narrator says Slayers spawn to gank you and that running beats fighting them all.

  7. Drink Muzan's Blood

    Delivering him completes the quest, and Muzan’s Blood lands in your hotbar. At that moment BLUEZ’s minimap shows the label Windy Pe, cut off at the edge. Use the bottle and your character turns. A fresh Biwa Bell also appears in the hotbar a few seconds after drinking, at 4:10 in the video.

    Dr. Higoshima delivered, then Muzan's Blood arrives with the message So, you've done as I asked of you. Drink, and shed that fragile, dying shell for good.

  8. Go back to Muzan for your art

    Ring the new bell. As a demon, Muzan offers two choices: a task, or his power. Power is the roll for a demon art, and the Blood Demon Arts page compares all nine with the odds Muzan quotes. Tasks are hunts on the trainee mini bosses, and every one of them is locked until level 45; the list is on the Muzan page.
