The Shockwave Demon

Akazo (Akaza)

Akazo hides behind a wall of green leaves that you can walk straight through. He drops his top and bottom and Annihilation Type, the Shockwave ultimate, which now reads 10% on his bar.

Since a later patch the scroll only drops once you own the Shockwave moves before it, so buy those first.

Through the leaf wall

North-west of the Windy Peak shrine, at the foot of the snowfield that climbs to Iceveil, behind a fake wall of leaves.

  1. Teleport to the Windy Peak shrine and head north-west.
  2. At the foot of the snow, look for a wall covered in green leaves and walk straight through it.
  3. Akazo waits on the other side. If his plate shows a countdown, such as Spawns in 2:33, wait there.

Before you pull him

  • Players report bosses healing if left alone for half a minute; one level 90 player lost an Akazo fight that way.
  • Opening his chest before you own Z, X, C and V brings the notice that Annihilation Type cannot drop yet.

Why the scroll won't drop

Why won't Annihilation Type drop?
Buy the first four Shockwave moves; the chest checks for them before the scroll can drop.
