Three payments, one after another

First she asks for

The counter drops by exactly this much the moment you say yes. Level 25 is the other requirement.

Bring both items on the first trip. One creator remembered 25 horns and another guessed 15,000 Wen; her lines and the Wen counter say otherwise.

The training never leaves the estate for long

The training house with the meditation mats, the cups and the push-up mats is on the same grounds, and the Insect Trainee is a 600-health mini boss below the training area. Only Boulder Split sits up on the high ground.

A 5% drop from The Insect Hashira, a world boss also named Shinora who spawns near Mistfall Harbor, not on the roof. Light on damage, strong on movement and stamina.

Tier 2 · Butterfly Katana
Reforged at the Nichirin Forge by Blacksmith Togane from the Insect Katana, three materials and 90,000 Ouwigahara points. Togane’s own line: the weapon in your hand is used up, and half its refinement carries over.

Tier 3 · Firstlight Insect Katana
Starts with a schematic you Study in a small underwater-entrance cave near Seasons Crossing and Mistfall Harbor, close to where the boss spawns. The crafting recipe itself has not been shown on screen for the Insect line.

Illusory Light also needs its skill drop from The Insect Hashira (5% on the bar in release-day footage; the patch since raised boss skill drops, and KoujiEX says it is now 10%). Creators describe Z, X, V and the ultimate as poisoning, but every one of those players ran the Kocho clan, whose Poison Draw Mode adds poison of its own. How much of it the style keeps without that clan has not been shown.

The nerf

The change list ScytheRoblox put in his video, copied from the patch notes:

C travel speed and range reduced by 20%, cooldown increased by 3s
V stamina drain while held reduced from 8% to 4% per second
V windup increased by 0.3s and cooldown by 2s
V invincibility during the cast removed
X windup increased by 0.2s and cooldown by 3s
Z windup increased by 0.2s

In short: longer windups on Z, X and V, and a slower, shorter C. His own verdict is poor in PvE and dungeons now, still decent in PvP.
