Slayers 2 Guide — Slayers 2 Guide

Slayer or demon?

Every character starts human and picks a side: learn a breathing style and pass Final Selection to become a Slayer, or drive your reputation down and drink Muzan’s blood to become a demon. Neither is locked forever; switching later costs a Reset Race from the shop, 10 Ore or 150 Robux.

Play a Slayer if…

  • You want to pick your moves. Each breathing style comes from a named trainer for a known price, so you choose exactly what you get. The breathing checker tells you which ones you can afford now.
  • You want to play by day without thinking about it. The sun does nothing to a Slayer, so every stat slot stays free for damage (see the accessories page).
  • You like the Slayer weapons. The Axe and Mace, the key to Stone Breathing, and the Shotgun are listed as Slayer weapons.

The route, step by step, is on the Become a Slayer page.

Player Info / Progression: the player's name, Lv 124 Slayer, and under it a Slayer Progress bar at Lv 1, still empty.

Play a demon if…

  • You want to start fast. The route has no level lock and has been done at level 6, long before a breathing trainer will talk to you at 25.
  • You don’t mind a gamble. Your art is rolled, not chosen; a bad roll means rolling again or finding a boss orb. The tier list shows which arts are worth chasing.
  • You want the demon-only extras. Two of the three fighting styles, Soryu and Reaping Blades, are demon-only (see fighting styles), and the Kamado clan’s Regen Adrenal skill works only for demons.

The cost is the sun. Until you find a hat, daylight burns you, and a sun hat takes one of your five stat slots. Kamado fixes that for good, and the Bladed Wagasa also carries Sun Immunity.

The route, step by step, is on the Become a Demon page.

One kill pays +61 Exp, +27 Wen and +41 Fist Mastery, and costs -9 Reputation. The panel in the top-right corner, headed Reputation, now reads -9.

Changing your mind later

  • Slayer to demon. Reputation alone is not enough: a Slayer who tries the demon route is reportedly turned away by Muzan whatever their reputation. Buy Reset Race first, then follow the demon route.
  • Demon to Slayer. Final Selection’s gate only lets a Race Human through, so a demon needs Reset Race before the trial.
  • Reset Reputation is a different item and does not change your race. Every reset and its price is on the resets page.
