All 8 breathing styles in Slayers 2

Breathing styles are the Slayer route’s move sets, and every one unlocks the same way: reach level 25, find the trainer, pay what they ask, then finish their training quest. The eight are Serpent, Insect, Flame, Thunder, Stone, Sound, Wind and Water. There is no Mist, Moon or Sun at launch. Costs below carry a label saying how sure anyone can be of them, because several are known from one guide only.

Paying the trainer starts a training quest; Stone’s shows six steps on screen, ending with a fight against the Stone Trainee. Changing styles later has its own cost: see switching styles.

Trainer by trainer

Read on screen means the name appears on a nameplate in footage. Two sources agree means Pro Game Guides’ trainer page and the requirement card in revolver agz’s route video say the same thing.

The training quest

Paying the trainer is not the end. Stone’s quest tracker, legible in one recording, lists six steps that open one after another:

  1. Meditate
  2. Push ups
  3. Boulder Push
  4. Boulder Split
  5. Parkour Dungeon
  6. Defeat the Stone Trainee

The reward line reads Stone Breathing Unlock. Trainees are mini bosses with their own 600-health bars. The Stone Trainee drops the Axe and Mace that Stone requires: its bar lists it at 7%.

Switching styles

  • The in-game shop sells Reset Breathing. In pre-release footage it costs 7 Ore, or 80 Robux marked down from 100. Ore can be earned without Robux: the release code gives one, and so does finishing Final Selection.
  • Pro Game Guides’ V0.145 notes say resetting a breathing style, art or fighting style now wipes the skill points you put into it. Before that patch, players reported the opposite problem: points that did not come back.
  • A free way to redo your points is the SKILLTREERESET code, while it lasts.
