The Sound Hashira

Tengai (Tengen)

Tengai stands in the snow, a few steps from the Iceveil shrine, so unlock that shrine first and bring something against the cold.

He drops the Sound Katanas, the Sound Slayer Uniform and String Performance, Sound's last move, now at 10%. He has no haori line.

A few steps from the Iceveil shrine

  1. Teleport to the Iceveil shrine; you can set your spawn there too.
  2. Walk a few steps south-west down the village street.
  3. Do not confuse him with the Sound trainer, who stands on an island further into Iceveil Valley.

One creator says you need the Sound Katanas to use Sound moves at all. A small drop boost multiplies every line, such as 10.2% on the scroll. Learning Sound is on the Sound page.

The cold on the way

  • The snow drains health unless an Emberheart Lantern is lit; see the cold.
  • 3,000 health alone; two players pushed it to 4,000.
  • Each kill costs 120 Reputation. One creator kills demon bosses at night to keep his reputation up.

The Sound Hashira Tengai: Sound Katanas x1 (5%), Sound Slayer Uniform x1 (5%), String Performance x1 (5%) struck with Must be Slayer.

10.2% and Domae next door

Why does his bar show 10.2%?
A small drop boost (about 1.02x) multiplies every line, so 10% shows as 10.2%. The base is 10%.
Domae is next door. Can I farm both?
Yes; Domae stands by the same shrine, and he is a demon boss.
