Mastery, Demon Progress and reputation
Your level is not the only number that grows. Each power and each weapon type has its own mastery bar, and mastery is what opens your next move. Demons also fill a Demon Progress bar with souls, and everyone carries a reputation that goes up or down with every kill.
Two bars at the bottom right
Next to the hotbar sit two bars: one for your power (a breathing style, blood art or fighting style) and one for the weapon in your hand. Every katana shares a single Sword Mastery bar; axes and maces, tantos and sickles each get their own. There is no fishing bar: fishing progress comes as titles instead.
Each level asks for 30 times its own number. That rule is ours, worked out from the bars below, and every reading we have fits it.

These numbers are read across the Stone, Insect and Wind trees, though not every cell appears on every tree; each step is 13 more. A move stays struck through with REQUIREMENTS NOT MET until all of them are true. So when a friend has a move you lack, check the three things in turn: the mastery on that power’s bar, your spare skill points, and for the ultimate, the scroll from its boss. Which boss drops which scroll is on the bosses page, and the trees themselves are on each breathing style page.
We have not seen the node text on a blood art or weapon tree yet, so their numbers may differ.
Purifying Claws: Skill Points 6, Mastery 14, REQUIREMENTS NOT MET. The bank shows 12 SKILL POINTS, so mastery is what is missing.

How far to your next move
Type the level and the first number on the bar you want to raise. From a fresh bar, mastery 53 is 41,340 points: about 77 Gyorei kills without a boost.

What each kill pays
Every kill toast lists mastery next to Exp and Wen, marked with a small red box. One kill feeds both bars. Sometimes the toast gives one number for both, sometimes a number each, and nobody has worked out why.

2x Mastery doubles the number and says so in the toast: 540 for Gyorei becomes 1,080. It lasts 30 minutes and costs 10 Ore, or 150 Robux (120 for Roblox Plus members). The other boosts sit in the same in-game shop.
Tower points from Ouwigahara buy mastery too: the Tower Crystal in the hub sells it at 3,000 points for any power or weapon you own. The stall does not print how much you get; the creator noah says one level.
At level 225, the cap, the crow list we saw pays in the mastery box instead of the Exp book, and a high-level hunt list in Muzan’s lair does too. At level 188 they still show the book. The leveling page covers the climb to 225.

Maxing a bar
Max out a power and you earn its title. Thunder’s is Thunder Perfected, an Epic title that lists a 1.02x breathing damage buff. The Titles menu has a Powers group of 17 and a locked Arrow Perfected, so each power seems to have one.
Where the bar stops is not on any screen we have. The creator KoujiEX and a player on r/Slayers2Roblox both put it at 400. From level 1, that would be 2,394,000 points.
What mastery adds to your own stats per level has not been shown either. One Reddit player guesses about 20 extra M1 damage at full mastery, and hedges it.

Demon Progress: the demon’s version of the gourd bar
Slayers raise Slayer Progress with gourds. Demons get a bar of their own in the same menu, under Player Info / Progression, and fill it with souls. It has four levels. Level 2 needs 3,000; the other thresholds have not been on screen.

Press T by a soul to claim it. Builderboy TV farms the Mizunoto camp: each one leaves a Strong Soul, and he says they respawn in 10 to 15 seconds. 2x Souls doubles that to 20 for 30 minutes, at 7 Ore or 100 Robux (80 for Roblox Plus members).

Level 4 adds health, 4% evil art damage, 2 flat damage and some Illumination, but no skill: demons have nothing like the Slayer’s Breathing Boost. The Illumination figure dropped from 0.2 at level 2 in an early build to 0.15 at level 4 in a later one, so it may have been cut in a patch. If you are still human, the demon route starts with your reputation.
Where to see your reputation
It is in the Roblox player list at the top right, the one headed People and Reputation. Everyone in the server is listed with their number, so you can see who has been hunting Slayers. None of the videos we checked shows it on a phone.

Levels 62 to 90: different quests for demons and Slayers
From about level 62 the two sides get different quest givers. Each quest pays Wen at 45% of its Exp, the same rate as the Slayer quests on the leveling page.

The demon quest for the 75 band has not turned up in any video yet. Until it does, demons fill that stretch with Muzan’s hunts and Mizunoto, which also feeds Demon Progress; the hunts are on the Muzan page.
