The Temari Demon

Sumari (Susamaru)

Sumari only fights at night. By day her spot on the west side of Bamboo Grove shows only Come back at night. At night she drops Tamari's ultimate, Spiraling Shot, and her outfit, 5% each on her launch bar.

West Bamboo Grove, after dark

The west side of Bamboo Grove, by a small red torii shrine, next to where the Reaper boss appears.

  1. Go to Bamboo Grove, north of the Bamboo Grove Sanctuary.
  2. Head to the west side of the grove, toward the small red torii shrine.
  3. Wait for night; she appears there.

Spiraling Shot is Tamari's ultimate; Slayers see it struck with Must be Demon.

Her heavy hit and the night loop

  • One player reports her strongest attack hitting for over 300 and dying ten times to her; bring potions.
  • The Reaper boss appears close by at night too, so the two make one trip.
  • A night loop through the grove: Yahari on the east side, then Sumari and the Reaper on the west, then on to Gyutai and Datai in the waterfall cave.

Her name and her scroll

Is it Temari or Tamari?
Both appear in the game: her title reads The Temari Demon, while the art her scroll belongs to is spelled Tamari.
Her scroll line says Missing Tamari. What does that mean?
The red text depends on who is looking. A demon without the Tamari art sees Missing Tamari; a Slayer sees Must be Demon. Her outfit line can drop for anyone.
