Every fish you can catch
There are nine catches, and the Archives lists them all under Fishing (16) with the rods and baits. Three are Common, three are Rare, and two, Crustadon and Krathulon, are Legendary; Coral’s card has not been read, though it sells at the Common price. Most are worth little to Ginzo; what makes a fish matter is who asks for it.
How to get the rods and bait is on the fishing page. This page is about the fish.

Fishing (16) in the Archives. Top row: rod, Coral, OuwFish, OuwFwesh, Sea Horse, Worm, Clown Fish. Middle: Fish Head, Golden Fish, rod, Zebra Fish, Crustadon, a lure, Krathulon. The card: Crustadon, Legendary, Source Fished up.
The nine catches
Filter by rarity or by the NPC who wants them. Prices are what Ginzo pays for one; the small text is each fish’s own card.
| Catch | Rarity | Sells for | Wanted by |
|---|---|---|---|
| OuwFishEveryday Mistfall catch, plain enough for crates but welcome wherever supper has to stretch. | Common | 33 Wen | Angler Runo |
| OuwFweshDockhands keep the old misspelling on the tag. The fish itself is clean, pale, and good for crates. | Common | 33 Wen | Angler Runo |
| Sea HorseSmall curled catch from eelgrass beds, dried whole for market stalls and anglers' crates. | Common | Not read | Angler Runo |
| Coral | Not read | 33 Wen | Angler Runo |
| Clown FishBrightly banded harbor catch, pretty enough for market talk and useful when pantries need more than small fry. | Rare | 66 Wen | Angler Runo |
| Zebra FishStriped harbor fish with firm flesh, set aside for market crates and tailors who prize a clean stripe. | Rare | Not read | Angler Runo |
| Golden FishA fish bright as sun on water, used as payment for a finer rod, more valuable on the counter than in a supper crate. | Rare | 66 Wen | Fisherman Jeso |
| CrustadonHeavy shelled deepwater brute. Old anglers keep it whole, remembering what dragged a man below. | Legendary | 110 Wen earlier build | Isao |
| KrathulonLong bodied deep catch with a jaw like a dock cleat. Iceveil stores prize it because it keeps through cold travel. | Legendary | 110 Wen earlier build | Isao |
Fish prices differ between builds: on an earlier one Coral sold for 22 and Clown Fish and Golden Fish for 44; on a later one they were 33 and 66, while the Basic rod stayed at 1,540 on both. No patch note explains the change. The two Legendary prices come from the earlier build. Coral is left out of the Common filter until its card is read.
What Crustadon and Krathulon are for
The two Legendary fish are the key to the best rod. Catch one of each and Sofen will sell you the clue; then the ghost of Isao under the red bridge takes two Crustadon and two Krathulon, and the Legendary Fishing Rod comes after. The whole chain is on the fishing page.
Crustadon is the red crab on the Archives grid and Krathulon the pale squid, not a long fish. Both are caught on the Basic rod with Fish Head bait, so you do not need a better rod to start the chain. Once you have the rod, spares sold to Ginzo for 110 Wen each on an earlier build; Krathulon’s card says Iceveil stores prize it, and one player reports Iceveil NPCs paying well above Ginzo for rare and legendary fish.

Krathulon, Legendary: Iceveil stores prize it because it keeps through cold travel. Its icon is the pale squid.

Selling to Ginzo on an earlier build: the Crustadon stack (x87) reads 110 a piece. The Clown Fish (x176) and Coral (x178) stacks sit on the bottom row.
Runo’s second crate, from level 60
Angler Runo’s first job, The Morning Haul, opens at level 45. At level 60 a second option appears, Ill land the good catch(Lv 60): The Good Catch wants 3 OuwFish, 3 Sea Horse, 3 Coral, 3 OuwFwesh, 1 Clown Fish and 1 Zebra Fish. It paid 1,035 Wen and 2,875 experience (with a 1.25x bonus) in one player’s run; the 9 OuwFish, Coral and OuwFwesh in it would have sold to Ginzo for 297 Wen. Runo also warns you to keep your Golden Fish for Jeso’s rod.
A third option, And bigger than that?, sits above it; what it asks for has not been shown yet.

Angler Runo: Hold onto any 'Golden Fish' though. 'Fisherman Jeso' trades those for the better rod. Options: And bigger than that?, Ill land the good catch(Lv 60), Close.

The Good Catch 0/7: three each of OuwFish, Sea Horse, Coral and OuwFwesh, one Clown Fish, one Zebra Fish, then Return to Runo; Exp +2,875 (1.25x) Wen +1,035.
Where each fish bites
The game does not tie fish to a place: no card or fishing screen names a pond, and players report that any water works. Fish Head and the Golden Tentacle raise Fish Luck, and one creator says the common fish get harder to hook with rare bait on.
Nobody has published catch rates. For Golden Fish, players report anything from one an hour and a half on the Basic rod with Fish Head to five in two hours. The bait cards and rod upgrades are on the fishing page.

Worm, Common: Fresh dock bait for the shallow table. The tab beside it is one player's bag: Fish Head, Clown Fish, Golden Fish and Zebra Fish are the biggest stacks.
What else the rod pulls up
- Ore and pink Mythic Refinement Ore: both list
Fished upas a source. One player went from 5 to 37 Ore over a night of fishing. - Metal Scraps, the plain forge material, come up too.
- Squid Beanie, a Rare head accessory; one player ended two nights of fishing with 81 of them.
- With the Legendary rod, the Lost gear: the mask, cape and Lost Shotgun list
Fished up, and one player also pulled up Lost Outfits and a Lost Lantern. Their cards are on the fishing page, and what the mask and cape add is in the accessory list.

Squid Beanie, Rare: A deep red squid worn as a cap with its tentacles left to hang, the sort of prize a harbor stall gives for a good haul.
Quick answers
- Is OuwFwesh a typo?
- On purpose: its card says the dockhands keep the old misspelling on the tag. OuwFish and OuwFwesh are two different Common fish.
- Which fish are Rare?
- Clown Fish, Zebra Fish and Golden Fish. Only Golden Fish buys the Rare rod; the other two go into Runo’s level 60 crate.
- Is fishing worth it for money?
- Not by the fish: 33 or 66 Wen apiece is small next to boss kills. Runo’s crates pay better than selling the same fish; how it compares with other money is on the Wen and Ore page.
