Arrow

Arrow bends arrows to move rocks and people: the first move lifts a rock and throws it, or carries you with it. The rest stun, slam and drag targets through the air before the Koketsu Arrow tears them apart.

It works from bare fists, and its boss, Yahari, also drops a Legendary necklace worth wearing.

The five moves

  • ZArrow FlightMastery — · Points 3Summons a rock on an upward arrow at the cursor; press again to throw it. Held, the arrow carries a rock that grabs whoever it hits and flings them where you aim. V0.182 raised its damage to NPCs and bosses by 35% and stopped it throwing you into the void when aimed at the floor.
  • XArrow EruptionMastery ? · Points ?Arrows burst outward around you, stun, then explode. Players describe it as a ground pound that hits twice. Name from the developer's earlier preview; not yet seen in the live tree.
  • CArrow Smack DownMastery ? · Points ?An arrow drops on the target, smashes down, lifts them and slams them again. The first real damage move, by one player's account. Name from the developer's earlier preview.
  • VTorrential ArrowsMastery ? · Points 12A close-range storm of arrows lifts the target, impales them and slams them down, with a short cutscene.
  • BKoketsu ArrowMastery 53 · Points ?One arrow drags the opponent through the air, then explodes from every side. Also needs a boss kill, reportedly Yahari's.

A question mark marks a number still unknown for this art. On Cryokinesis, where the whole tree is known, the moves ask for mastery 14, 27, 40 and 53 and cost 3, 6, 9 and 12 points. How mastery fills is on the mastery page; the fastest ways to raise it are on mastery farming.

Unlocking Arrow

  1. Get the Arrow Orb

    Roll at Muzan (how the roll works) or pull it from a chest (orb drop rates).

  2. Crush it and finish the core training

    1. 1. Meditate
    2. 2. Aim Training
    3. 3. Boulder Push
    4. 4. Defeat Mizunotos (5)

    If you already hold another art, Muzan refuses the roll with My power already runs in you. Tear it out first. That means a Reset Evil Art from the shop; the price is on the resets page.

  3. Buy the moves in the skill tree

    Training unlocks the art, not its first move. Open the Arrow branch, spend skill points on Arrow Flight, then raise Arrow Mastery for the rest.

  4. Beat Yahari for Koketsu Arrow

    Yahari, The Arrow Demon, drops the Yahari Necklace: Legendary, Class: Titan, +160 Max Health and +80 Max Stamina, and reportedly the Koketsu Arrow scroll; one player had both by mastery 53. At launch his spot only said to come back at night during the day; a later recording shows a plain respawn timer instead.

One player bought Arrow Flight and could not see it on fists. The art does run on fists, so check that the fist slot is the one selected, and that the move was unlocked in the tree after the core training. Every art and style against every weapon is on the weapon compatibility page.

What players ask about Arrow

Arrow Flight threw me off the map. Is that fixed?
Yes. V0.182 stopped it sending players into the void when aimed at the floor.
Is the Yahari Necklace good?
It is a Titan-class Legendary with +160 Max Health and +80 Max Stamina. How it stacks up against other neck pieces is on the accessories page.
Is Arrow good for PvP?
The lists put it at B, B and A. One creator called it a decent boss killer but weak in PvP; others call it niche but strong. It got an unnamed buff in v.09.
