The skill tree

Every level gives you about three skill points, and one pool pays for everything in the tree: your breathing or art moves, your weapon and clan skills, and the Character branch with Double Jump, Wall Climb and seven stat branches.

Open it from the side menu (Skill Tree). Your portrait sits in the middle, and each thing you own grows its own chain out of it.

From the portrait: Character, then Innate Skills, Double Jump and Wall Climb (UNLOCKED), with the stat branches fanning out above.

Reading a node card

Tap a node and its card appears next to your point count. It shows the name and the cost, nothing else; for stat nodes the name is the effect, like +40 Max Health. The button tells you where you stand:

UNLOCK
You can buy it now. A message confirms it: You unlocked ['+40 Max Health'].
UNLOCK PREVIOUS
The node before it on the chain is not bought yet. Work down the chain in order.
REQUIREMENTS NOT MET
Something is missing, and it is shown in red: the point cost, or for a move, the mastery it needs. See the mastery page for the mastery part.

In newer builds a Root name here! search box sits above the tree, and a slider under the point count zooms out to see the whole thing.

Every Character node and its cost

Character splits in two. Innate Skills leads to Double Jump (3) and then Wall Climb (6). The stat hub fans out into seven branches, each dearer the further you go: most steps cost the first step’s price times their place in the line. All the nodes below come to 627 points; whether any branch goes further than the last node listed has not been seen.

About what level 60 gives177

Left for moves and clan97

Points assume 3 a level from level 1. Your style or art’s moves (3 + 6 + 9 + 12) and clan nodes (3 or 6 each) come out of the same pool. For the x branches the figure is the highest node bought; how the nodes stack is not shown on the cards.

What to buy first

Creators split into two camps.

Movement, then survival

Double Jump and Wall Climb for nine points, since creators say several trainers stand on roofs and cliffs; then stamina and block, then health and health regen, and your own style’s moves as mastery allows.

Damage first

Take the Additional Damage branch all the way; the five nodes here cost 180 points, about 60 levels’ worth. Several larger channels say to max it out.

Either way, the Thunder trainer is reportedly out of reach without Wall Climb and Double Jump (see Thunder), and your style’s first move costs only 3 points once the training is done, so buy that before anything else: training unlocks the style, not the move.

Resetting your points

A skill point reset puts every spent point back in the pool so you can spend it again; nothing is lost. Everything relocks, Double Jump and Wall Climb included, so buy those back first. It costs 10 Ore or 150 Robux in the shop (120 with Roblox Plus), and the SKILLTREERESET code does it for free while it works (see codes).

Changing your breathing, art or fighting style is a different reset. Since V0.182 it refunds the points you had put into that style, and points lost to earlier resets came back on the next join. Every reset is on the resets page.

+81 Max Health: Skill Points 43, UNLOCK, with 353 in the pool.

When the tree does not do what you expect

I finished my style’s training but have no moves.
Buy the first move in its branch; it is never free. For a demon art, also hold a weapon that carries it (see weapon compatibility).
My clan branch vanished after a reset.
One player reports it after a skill point reset, and there is no explanation yet.
Can I buy the whole tree at max level?
Unknown. The Character nodes above already cost at least 627, before any moves or clan nodes, so plan as if you cannot.
