Factions, the game’s guilds

Looking for guilds in Slayers 2? They are called factions. Any player can start one from the side menu at any level, invite up to 49 others by name, and the group shows a Faction Reputation. Your clan is something else: that is the bloodline you roll for.

Starting one

  1. Open the side menu and pick Faction, between Player Info and Titles.
  2. Type a name of 5 to 20 characters in Faction name here! and press Create Faction.
  3. A message confirms Founded the faction with its name, and you are listed as ME (Admin).

Joining and running one

  • Invite only. The panel tells newcomers to ask a faction admin to invite them; the admin types your player name into Write a player name to invite. No list of factions to browse has turned up, and at least one group recruits on Reddit and Discord.
  • 50 members. A new faction reads 1 of 50 members.
  • The admin’s buttons. Pencil buttons by the name and below it, and a red Disband. What the pencils edit is not shown; a guide says name, description or banner.

Faction Reputation

The panel shows a Faction Reputation number, and on a brand-new faction it matches its founder’s own reputation, -3 in the example. That fits it adding up its members’ reputation, but nothing shows it with more than one member, and nothing says what it unlocks. Personal reputation, the one that rises and falls with what you kill, is covered on the reputation page and the Slayer or demon page.

No patch note so far has mentioned factions. The developer does have an early post about them behind its paid Patreon, so the system may grow; new changes will show up on the update log.
