Slayers 2 weapons, and how each one gets stronger
A weapon with a Mythic version climbs four steps. You win it off a boss or pull it from a chest. You refine it for Wen and ore. You reforge it into its Mythic version with points from the Ouwigahara dungeon. Then, with a schematic, you craft a Nightfall or Firstlight tier of it for a million Wen. Unless a line names who said it, every number below is printed on a card, a health bar or a recipe window in players’ recordings.

Raze’s 500 Wen katana is a stopgap: no shop blade is on the forge’s Mythic list.

Your first weapon
Raze’s Sword Shop in Windy Peak sells the Regular Katana for 500 Wen and the Fancy Katana for 1,500. No card for either has been recorded; games.gg says the Fancy adds only +1 Additional Damage and tells you to buy the Regular. Neither shop katana appears on the forge’s Mythic list, so do not spend ore refining one.
games.gg and Sportsrant both point to the Cutlass as an early boss weapon: Zuko, a mini boss with 300 health near Windy Peak, prints it at 20% on his bar. Its Quick Draw skill is a separate 25% line on the same bar.

Every weapon on record
The Archives menu counts 31 weapons and 26 katanas, including ones you do not own yet, and each card lists where the item comes from. Stats read Additional Damage · Additional Damage Factor · Block Points. A card from someone’s inventory shows their copy, and refining raises its damage: one player’s Wind Katana reads +2.8 where the one on the Wind Breathing page reads +2.

Every breathing style swings a katana, and the shop sells two to start with.

Name on the list means the Mythic name appears in the forge’s list but no recording shows its recipe with that base weapon. The boss drop chances come from the boss health bars. The Sickles are the odd one: Hoyuzo’s bar in one recording prints 3%, while the Sickles’ card in the Archives prints 7% from Hoyuzo.

Refining at Refiner Hagane
Hagane stands in the forge building in Hidden Mist Village and refines weapons and fishing rods one level at a time, up to +10. Each attempt costs Wen and ore, and the chance drops as the level climbs:

Those two are a Serpent Katana. The price is not the same for every weapon: an Insect Katana going from +3 to +4 asks 1,000 Wen and eight Refinement Ore. By the +6 to +7 attempt the ore has switched to Mythic Refinement Ore. A refinement guard can be armed first; Sportsrant says it stops a failed attempt from lowering the level. At +10 the table promises +3 flat damage and +5% on top of the base.

The Mythic reforge (what players call V2)
The game never prints V2; Togane’s word is the next tier. It happens at the NICHIRIN FORGE stall inside the Ouwigahara hub, and every recipe on screen has the same shape: the base weapon in your hand, 500 Metal Scraps, 10 Mythic Refinement Ore, 300 Silk Thread and 90,000 points. Creators say points do not carry over between runs, so they have to come from one, and the Ouwigahara planner works out what else a run can pay for.
The weapon you feed in is used up, and only half its refinement carries over, rounded down. A +5 Scythe comes out a +2 Damascus Scythe, and a +7 Sickles comes out +3. Half of whatever you refined before the reforge is lost.
A guide that asks for 500 Silk Thread has it wrong; every recipe on screen prints 300. So does one that puts the forge at level 60: Togane’s option reads Lv 65.

Nightfall and Firstlight
Back in Hidden Mist Village, Togane’s second list holds the Nightfall and Firstlight gear, each with a tier badge. The Nightfall Katana is the one with recipes on record, from t4urrs. Its first tier takes the schematic and a Volcanic Katana; his was +6 and the result came out +6, so this step kept the refinement in the one case recorded.

T1

T1 → T2
The T1 weapon, the same schematic, 750 Metal Scraps, 750 Silk Thread, 6 and 6 of two Nightfall materials whose names are cut off, and 750,000 Wen. The schematic still reads 1/1, so the first craft does not seem to use it up.
The Lost Shotgun, rarity Impossible, lists two sources on its card: Crafted at Ouwland, and Fished up with the Legendary rod (see the fishing page). No recording shows the third tier’s recipe, or a stat card for the Nightfall Katana itself. The +5.75 Additional Damage that games.gg and Beebom list for it has not been on screen here.
Getting the schematics
Several schematics sit in the world as a blade on a stand: walk up and press T to Study it. Others come from a quest or a locked box. Sportsrant and Builderboy TV agree on where the seven Nightfall ones are:

No source we read explains why some players cannot inspect the Sickles schematic. What is on record: it only opens up after all ten levers, and syoct’s video puts a note on screen to do the levers in a new server, and in a private one to be safe. The Firstlight Lantern schematic’s card names a quest, The Plate Trial, as its source.

What a Firstlight weapon looks like
Two Firstlight cards are on record, the War Fans and the Spear, and both read +5.75 damage and 1.15x, with more than eight Block Points and +5 Max Stamina. Next to a base Legendary’s +2 and 1.04x, that is what the whole climb is for. The cards do not say which tier they show, and both give their source as Crafted at Ouwland.

Where the materials come from
- Metal Scraps and Silk Thread
- Ginzo by the Mistfall Harbor shrine sells Metal Scraps for 500 Wen each, and both drop from chests. One Ouwigahara Chest in UnoTwo’s run gave 19 scraps and 20 thread.
- Mythic Refinement Ore
- Its card lists Sealed Caches (4% T3, 2% T2, 1% T1), World Events Chests (4%), Snow Chests, Lost Chests and fishing. Creators also sell spare Mythic items to Ginzo for it, and the dungeon’s Changer Zeni has a 30,000-point ore with the same icon.

Weapon skills
A weapon’s moves sit in the same skill tree as your breathing style or art, and share its tabs: one reads Character, Blood Manipulation, Reaping Blades, War Fans and Sickles. Some are unlocked with skill points and mastery; others are a separate drop, like the Cutlass’s Quick Draw on Zuko’s bar or Predator Claws on Kaiden’s.

Which weapon is best
Nobody ranks base weapons for long; the lists argue about the top tiers.
- TechWiser puts the Firstlight War Fans at the top for demons, and the Firstlight Tanto, Lost Shotgun and Firstlight Spear for slayers. The Nightfall Katana is a tier lower.
- games.gg calls the Nightfall Katana the clear top pick among katanas, for its block stats as much as its damage.
- Captinttb sends demons to the Blood Sickles and then the Damascus Sickles, and slayers to the Flame Katana, its Volcanic reforge, or the Nightfall Katana.
