Cryokinesis core training
Rolling or looting the ice art does not hand it to you. You get a Cryokinesis Orb; crushing it starts Cryokinesis Core Training, four steps that must be done in order. The one people get stuck on is step three, the underwater rocks at Bamboo Grove Sanctuary.
- Starts from
- Crushing a
Cryokinesis Orb, from Muzan’s roll or a chest - Steps
- Meditate, Boulder Split, 5 Underwater Rocks, 5 Mizunotos
- Reward
- Cryokinesis unlocked, 900 Exp and 405 Wen

Cryokinesis Core Training 0/4: Meditate 0/1, Boulder Split 0/1, Underwater Rocks 0/5, Defeat Mizunotos 0/5; Exp +900, Cryokinesis Unlock, Wen +405.
Getting the orb
Muzan’s roll in his lair has a 50% chance of nothing; a win drops an art’s orb into your bag rather than the art itself. Bosses and chests drop the same orbs; which chest carries the Cryokinesis Orb, and at what odds, is on the orbs page. Either way, crush the orb to start the training.

After a roll: Cryokinesis Orb NEW! and Reaper Orb; the panel reads 50% chance of rolling nothing.
The four steps
Each step stays locked until the one before is done; the tracker says so under each line.
1. Meditate
Go to Butterfly Estate, where the breathing training house is, and use a
Meditationspot. How meditation works is on the training page.2. Boulder Split
Find a rope-tied boulder with the
Boulder SplitTrainprompt and survive the timer. The breathing trainers set a boulder drill too, on the training page.

Head to the pond at Bamboo Grove Sanctuary, by the red torii gate, and dive. The rocks are the glowing blue lights under the water; touch five. You reportedly do not need to dive very deep, and the counter ticks up as you find each one. If you see no glowing rocks, check that Boulder Split is ticked off first, since each step waits on the one before.

Underwater Rocks 2/5.4. Defeat 5 Mizunotos
Mizunoto are the low-rank Slayer NPCs. Five kills finish the training; Mistfall Harbor is one place to find them. Each kill also costs you 9 reputation, which a demon will not mind.

After the training
The last kill ends it with You've proven yourself., 900 Exp, 405 Wen, and a new Cryokinesis mastery bar. The art itself, its moves and where it ranks are on the Blood Demon Arts page; the boss who uses it, Domae, is on the bosses page.
