Private servers in Slayers 2

Slayers 2 does not use Roblox’s private servers. The game sells its own through a subscription called VIP, 150 Robux a month, and anyone can join a VIP owner’s server for free by typing the owner’s name. There are no private server codes.

That is why the Servers tab on the game’s Roblox page shows nothing to buy: Roblox itself says the experience does not support private servers.

Getting your own

From the main menu press Play. Under the blue JOIN button sits a gold Unlock Private Servers.
It opens a Roblox subscription prompt: VIP, 150 Robux a month, 10% off with Roblox Plus. Roblox charges it every month until you cancel.
Back on the Play screen, pressing JOIN now puts you in your own server; the loading screen reads Ouwland Private.

The game also lists a one-off 1 Month VIP for 180 Robux, 30 days without a renewal. Where it is offered in the game has not been shown; the other one-off purchases are on the game passes page.

Joining a friend’s server for free

Only the owner pays. On the Play screen, type the owner’s Roblox name into the box above JOIN (it reads Private server owner or, in newer builds, Friend Join · Player’s name). The button turns gold and says JOIN PRIVATE; hold it, as the hint underneath says, to go in.

If you get This private server is suspended., the server cannot be joined right now. Why is not shown; a lapsed subscription is one possible reason, so ask the owner.

What VIP gives besides the server

The subscription’s own description lists private servers, the Evil Art Bag, the Clan Bag and exclusive shop sections. In the game that shows up as three locks for everyone else:

One player reports that if VIP lapses you lose the private server and access to the bag, but the clans stored in it stay.

What changes inside

One rule is written down by the developer. Since V0.18, crow and Muzan hunt rewards in a private server depend on how many are in it, as in public servers: 50% alone, 75% with two, full with three or more. Alone in your own server, a hunt pays half. One player still saw less than the full reward with five in the server, so bring friends and compare the board with a public one. Players disagree on whether Exp is any better or worse in private, and it is not known whether bosses, Muzan, the Black Marketer, the Spider Lily or ranked behave differently there. A private server is the quiet place for puzzles and fishing, not a shortcut.

The Servers menu is something else

Servers in the side menu lists public servers by region with their build, uptime and player count, up to 20 a server. It is how you hop to a quieter or closer server; it cannot make a private one.

Private server commands

The top bar has a Commands button; what it opens is not known. The list below is one creator’s, typed in chat; treat it as a starting point and check the button in your own server.

/Set and /UnSet are different: they come with the Set Spawn Anywhere pass and work in any server.

Why there are no private server codes

The code lists people search for belong to the first game, Project Slayers, which had Roblox-style private servers with codes. In Slayers 2 you join by the owner’s name, so there is nothing to paste. The redeem codes that give spins and Ore are a separate thing, on the codes page.

Does anything carry over from Project Slayers?

No. The developer said in two question-and-answer videos before launch that Slayers 2 is a new game rather than a sequel, and that progress, items and data stay behind. Private servers bought in the first game do not carry over either.

The one exception is for players whose Project Slayers account had the Kamado clan (it is unclear whether that character has to be picked in the first game beforehand). On first joining Slayers 2 they get a Thank you! pack, offered because Sun Breathing never arrived in the first game: 100 spins, 2 Ore, the Mythic Son of Ilio title, and 20 spins in which Kamado counts as a Rare roll.

Those 20 spins raise the chance; they do not hand you Kamado. Several players spent all 20 without it, and someone with a role badge on the game’s Discord asked people not to open tickets about it. What the odds become is worked out on the spins page, and the clan itself is on the Kamado page.
