The Wind Hashira
Saneri (Sanemi)
Saneri is not in the snow. The Wind trainer lives up in Iceveil, but the boss stands in the grass just south of the starting village, a short walk from Gyutai and Datai's cave.
His bar has four lines: the Wind Katana, the Wind Haori, the Wind Slayer Uniform and Idaten Typhoon, Wind's last move, now at 10%.

After the patch: Idaten Typhoon x1 (10%), struck with Missing Wind for a player on another style.

South of Windy Peak, not in the snow
A grass field by a red-post fence, south of Windy Peak and past Raze's Sword Shop, on the way down to Mistfall Harbor.
- Teleport to the Windy Peak shrine.
- Walk south and downhill past Raze's Sword Shop.
- His bar shows by the fence before Seasons Crossing. Gyutai and Datai's cave is close by; one creator says you can farm all three from there.

Katana, haori, uniform and Idaten Typhoon
| Item | Chance | Kills for a 90% chance |
|---|---|---|
| Idaten Typhoon move scroll | 10%5% at launch | 22 |
| Wind Haori | 3% | 76 |
| Wind Katana | 5% | 45 |
| Wind Slayer Uniform | 5% | 45 |
Wind moves need a katana in hand, which makes the Wind Katana worth the grind. Missing Wind on the scroll line means you are on another style. Learning Wind is on the Wind page.
Reading his bar in a group
- 3,000 health alone; with more players on him it has read
4000. - His countdown after a kill has read
Spawns in 4:25. - The damage list on his bar shows each hitter's share as a percentage of the base 3,000, so in a group the shares add up past 100%.
- Each kill costs 120 Reputation.

The Wind Hashira Saneri: Idaten Typhoon x1 (5%) struck with Must be Slayer, Wind Haori x1 (3%), Wind Katana x1 (5%), Wind Slayer Uniform x1 (5%).
Is Saneri in Iceveil?
- Is Saneri in Iceveil?
- No. The Wind trainer is up in the snow; Saneri the boss is south of Windy Peak.
- One player says 700 kills for the sword.
- That is one report. At 5%, 45 kills give about a 90% chance, and seven hundred dry kills is next to impossible, so that count is likely off.
