Slayers 2 Guide — Slayers 2 Guide

Reputation

Kills nudge one number: humans push it down, demons push it up. So far it has been seen to matter for one thing, the invite from Muzan at about -40 that lets a human become a demon. Everything else about it is below, with a planner for how many kills a target takes.

Does reputation matter?

For a human who wants to turn demon, yes: Muzan only offers his blood once you are at about -40, and even one point above is reportedly not enough. The steps from there are on the become a demon page.

Beyond that, no shop, quest, trainer or rank has been seen to check it. One player says they have yet to see any reason to care about it; another, at about plus 45,000 by his own count, wonders whether it matters at all, since he still gets coin pouches and Nightfall or Firstlight drops from civilians.

One trap: a human who has already passed Final Selection is a Slayer, and Muzan tells Slayers to get lost however low their reputation goes. Players report being turned away at minus 600 and minus 2,000. The fix is Reset Race (10 Ore or 150 Robux), covered on the become a demon page.

What each kill does

The change shows in the kill popup, next to the mastery you earned, with a star icon. The rule of thumb: killing humans (civilians, Slayer NPCs, Hashira) lowers it; killing demons raises it.

KillChangeWho can
A civilian The slowest way down: one reputation per kill, at level 2 or level 207 alike.-1Slayer or demon
A Mizunoto (Slayer NPC) Their camp is near Butterfly Estate; the usual way to reach minus 40.-9Slayer or demon
A Hashira boss Every kill of Giyen, Obari, Gyorei and the rest.-120Slayer or demon
A Hoyuzo Subordinate The soldiers in Hoyuzo's rock basin, on the way to him.+8Slayer
A demon boss Sumari and Yahari have both shown it.+120Slayer
Another player One creator says about -12; another player says it depends on the victim's level. The popup value is not confirmed. Not confirmedEither

Reward popups after a Giyen kill

After the kill: +1,000 Exp, +450 Wen, +540 Sword and Water Mastery, -120 Reputation, and ['Dead Calm'] can drop once the Water skills before it are unlocked.

Civilians take a while: one player’s number fell by about 33 in a minute and a quarter of hitting them. A Hashira is the fast way down, 120 a kill, which is also how Slayers who farm Hashira can end up negative without meaning to.

How many kills to your target

Put in where you are and where you want to be. The counts only use the fixed values the kill popup shows, so player kills are left out.

Where you want it

Down 40. Any one of these gets you there or a little past it:

  • 40civilian kills at -1
  • 5Mizunoto (Slayer NPC) kills at -9
  • 1Hashira boss kills at -120

Where you read it, and Muzan’s messages

Open the Roblox player list at the top right: the columns are People and Reputation, and every player in the server is on it. Numbers run a long way both ways; lists have shown more than 36,000 and less than minus 32,000.

On the way down, Muzan reportedly sends a line on the left of the screen at every ten below zero, and at -40 he tells you to meet him at nightfall. Where he appears each night is on the Muzan page.

Roblox's player list panel with a Reputation column

After Reset Reputation: the People / Reputation panel reads 0.

Getting back to zero

  • Reset Reputation in the shop sets it to 0 for 4 Ore or 50 Robux (40 for Roblox Plus members). The other resets are on the resets page.
  • As a Slayer, kill demons: +8 for each Hoyuzo Subordinate on the way to Hoyuzo, +120 for a demon boss. One creator says he farms demon bosses at night to keep his net reputation positive.
  • As a demon, each trip into Muzan’s Lair spends 5 of your negative reputation, moving it 5 towards zero. That is small next to a single Hashira kill.

Faction Reputation is a different number

A player-made faction shows a Faction Reputation of its own. A one-person faction read minus 3, the same as its founder, so it may add up the members’ numbers, but what it does is not known yet. Factions themselves are on the factions page.

Quick answers

Does killing other players lower reputation?
It is reported to, but the amount is not settled: one creator says about minus 12, another player says it depends on the victim’s level. For a reliable drop, use Mizunoto at minus 9.
Can a Slayer become a demon just by dropping reputation?
No. Muzan turns Slayers away at any number; buy Reset Race first, then drop to -40.
Why did my reputation go down when I only fought bosses?
Hashira count as the Slayer side: each one costs 120, whether you are a Slayer or a demon. A demon boss killed as a Slayer gives 120 back.
Is high reputation worth anything?
Nothing has been shown to reward it; one player at a high number still gets the usual coin pouches and drops. See mastery for what does grow with play.
